Professional

David Woodley’s stellar record of achievement cements his credentials as a business strategist. He has the rare ability to see the big picture as well
as the details.

David has held the position of COO and CEO of several large, multinational corporations spanning various industries, from automotive to white goods. He served in key executive roles at Dana Corp., TriMas Corp., and Electrolux. David has a particular expertise in global expansion, having led business ventures in Europe, Mexico, Latin America and the Pacific Rim. He doubled the market share, increasing corporate profitability by 40 percent and sales by over $100 million through organic growth in the highly competitive manufacturing sector. He also understands the other side of the balance sheet, having successfully rationalized organizations to eliminate redundancies and achieve economies of scale in tightly margined sectors.

David brings his skills as a consensus builder and motivator to his role as TEC Chair. He credits his own growth as a leader to the close interaction with other CEOs and a rapport that is unique to the TEC experience.
