A Little Bit About Me
In my professional journey, I have cultivated a stellar record of achievements that cements my credentials as a business strategist. What sets me apart is my ability to navigate both the big picture as well as the intricate details.
I have held the position of COO and CEO of several large, multinational corporations spanning various industries, from automotive to white goods. As well, I served in key executive positions at Dana Corp., TriMas Corp., and Electrolux. With expertise on global expansion, I have led business ventures in Europe, Mexico, Latin America, and the Pacific Rim. Additionally, I doubled the market share by leading multiple acquisitions in the highly competitive manufacturing sector. Having successfully rationalized organizations to eliminate redundancies and achieve economies of scale in tightly margined sectors, I also understand the other side of the balance sheet.
As a TEC Chair, I bring my skills as a consensus builder and motivator to my role. My own growth as a leader and the opportunity to closely interact with other CEOs makes the TEC experience unique to me.
On a personal note, I live in Port Dover with my wife, along with our three dogs. Outside of my professional pursuits, I am an avid golfer and reader, as well as a Toronto Blue Jays and Edmonton Oilers fan. I have also been a recipient of the Chair Excellence Award, acknowledging my contributions and commitment as a TEC Chair.
