“It is the members who are accountable for their own learning and for taking action that get the most out of TEC. We welcome CEOs and owners who are ambitious, authentic, self-aware and want to make a difference.”
Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
In my extensive career journey as a company president and CEO, I’ve garnered valuable experiences that now enrich my role as a TEC Chair.
Serving as the former President and CEO of GSW Inc., a $250 million multi-divisional, publicly traded manufacturer of home improvement products, I successfully restored growth in sales, led the development of a new strategy, and oversaw the implementation of key marketing and operational initiatives. Prior to my tenure at GSW Inc., I held the position of President at LePage’s Limited, a $50 million leader in consumer adhesives and sealants in Canada. Over the course of ten years, I transformed the company into a dominant, profitable company through strong leadership and a commitment to delivering customer value. I have also worked with Unilever as General Manager of Shopsy’s Foods and in a variety of marketing and sales management roles in Canada and London, England.
As a TEC Chair, I am passionate about ensuring that members are engaged and learning by encouraging dynamic conversation and a free flow of ideas. I believe in holding members accountable, challenging them to take action and elevate their performance to the next level. Most members have been a part of my groups for at least four years, with some even exceeding 10 years.
On a personal note, I reside in Brampton with my wife, and feel blessed with three adult children and six grandchildren. My academic background includes a BComm from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Until recently, along with my TEC Chair duties, I managed a strategy consulting business, INNOVA Performance Solutions. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy gardening, golfing, and hiking.
