Professional

When leaders work directly with Helen Krapf-Jones as their TEC Canada Chair, they will transform their organizations and their capabilities to rise to the next challenge, seeing uncharted growth in their companies – and themselves – as a result.

Helen’s journey towards helping business leaders began in 1997 at Byk Canada, where as Vice President she led the design and implementation of a national human resources strategy and organizational structure that led to tripling the firm’s revenue growth within its first three years. Her success continued as a partner of ATI Technologies Inc, where she was the Primary HR leader for four core business areas (Desktop, Software Design, Multimedia, and Marketing) with 1400+ employees globally and over 70% of the $2 billion U.S. company revenue. In 2007, Helen tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit when she co-founded and managed Toronto’s premier Italian cycling boutique, InVita Sport Ltd., and designed and launched its successful e-commerce store serving North American customers. Later, Helen was the COO at Artex Fine Art Services where she designed and led the execution of the company’s strategic roadmap and oversaw the company-wide restructuring plan that led to its successful sale to Iron Mountain Inc. in 2018.

In 2019, Helen founded Gambit Strategy Group to pursue her passion to help owners of high-performing companies unlock the true and untapped potential of their business – to advance outcomes and deliver results. For Helen, organizational transformation is a necessity in today’s world of increasing complexity and unprecedented disruption. By joining her private peer advisory board, entrepreneurs and business leaders will gain access to her aptitude for guiding the improvement of an organization and her strategies that lead to uncharted levels of personal and professional success.

Helen’s educational background includes an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, a combined B.A., Economics and Law from Carleton University, and a Human Resource Mgmt. Post Graduate Certificate from Sheridan College.
