TEC Member and B.C. Native Shane Bishop Ranks 39th in Global Ranking of Healthcare Tech CEOs

Shane – Founder & CEO of Catalyst Healthcare – was recognized earlier this year among the world’s top healthcare technology leaders. Leaders acknowledged on this list have been critical in developing top medical devices, next generation software platforms, cutting-edge drugs and therapeutics, and advanced diagnostics, among other technologies. Shane cracked the top 40 this year after ranking 44 in 2020. See the full list.

 

Community Impact: Calgary TEC Member Sets Bold Targets in 2nd Winter Fundraiser

After doubling last year’s goal and surpassing $25,000 towards women and children in need, TEC member and Founder of Cause to Smile Dr. Amreesh Khanna is looking to double his goal again. His foundation is committed supporting 10 women and their families, providing 75 children with their winter essentials and making sure 250 school aged children are fed and don’t go hungry. A Testament to Entrepreneurship: Multiple TEC Members Among City’s Top Business Leaders

Business in Edmonton Magazine recognized two TEC members in their top 20 business leaders in Edmonton list. TEC members Stephen Moore, President and Owner of Orion Plastics Inc., and Jan van Bruggen – CEO of Barricades and Signs Ltd. – are spotlighted among the deserving entrepreneurs who adapted their products and services despite only 42% of Alberta businesses operating with full staff. Congratulations to the many TEC Canada members within Hyper Hippo Entertainment, on being recognized as one of Canada’s Best Places to Work by the GamesIndustry.Biz, and being awarded the Health and Wellbeing Award.
