Professional
Steve Joyce has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in a variety of industries including distribution, manufacturing, advertising, environmental, waste management, pulp and paper, and forestry.
Within these positions, Steve was known for developing and implementing strategic initiatives through building and motivating cross-functional teams. In addition to his financial competence he has held a wide range of leadership roles including President, CEO and Director of Business Development. His approach transcended the traditional financial role responsibilities by focusing on creating a trusting environment, challenging norms and being a catalyst for change.
Creating continuous learning environments and mentoring of others formed the central part of his approach to leadership and is what led him to joining TEC. Steve has been a TEC KEY Executive member for 19 years, experiencing firsthand how the program delivered on its value proposition for all members in his TEC KEY group.
Inspired by the growth he experienced, personally and professionally, and the impact he saw TEC had on others, he has now transitioned into the role of a TEC Chair. Steve is passionate about guiding his members through their blind spots, providing ideas and materials to enhance their life, and facilitating a“safe harbor” for important conversations amongst business leaders unique to their specific needs and challenges.
