Pascal St-Jean is a born entrepreneur, innovator, and life-long learner. His remarkable business achievements – creating and scaling multiple business ventures, all before the age of forty – have earned him a respected reputation as a passionate leader, visionary and advisor whose ultimate goal is to transform lives, communities and the world.
Pascal had begun his remarkable career trajectory before he graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering. He founded Picsphere, a leading-edge workflow and sales solutions provider for sports action photography while still in school. A born business strategist with a compelling work ethic, he raised the investment capital, led the development team and attracted a seasoned business line-up to help him scale the business, which he successfully exited a few years later.
His next major business, Citadel Rock Communities Inc., was a collaborative and social solution based on open source software. After a successful merger, the company became Synergiq Solutions, with a mandate to create online communities that empower people to connect and collaborate. Pascal leveraged his solution into the Language Preservation Project with the Government of Nunavut, which led to work with additional Circumpolar governments as well as other unique projects.
Over the years Pascal has been a strategic advisor to many other start-up businesses in the Ottawa region and has been actively involved with entrepreneur-based organizations. As a supporter of the community, his next goal is to bolster its status as a tech and business hub, by championing local businesses and their leaders as a TEC Small Business Chair.
