Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
Throughout my career, I have built a reputation as a trusted advisor to CEOs and a strategic financial advisor to entrepreneurs. I am also a skilled negotiator, effective in handling complex transactions, as well as a skillful leader, managing relations with directors and shareholders. As a results-driven management consultant, I have a strong reputation for adding value, perspective, and clarity.
Beginning my career in the technology industry as a CFO for a number of venture capital-backed companies, I raised over $100 million in venture capital, navigated growth challenges, and successfully sold companies in a fast-paced environment.
For the past decades, I have provided strategic advisory services to owner-managed corporate clients through my consulting company Cashia Consulting Corporation and MVT Coaching. These corporations span across various industries, from construction consulting services to medical software.
Having been a former member of a TEC group, I have a deep understanding with TEC’s process. In my role as a TEC Chair, I find immense joy in sharing my analytical insights while mentoring and coaching CEOs, executives, and small business owners who are engaged, accountable, and focused on a results-driven approach to propel both their business and personal lives forward. While I recognize the importance of the bottom line, I also counsel members to strike a balance between profits and people, and work and personal time.
On a personal note, I reside in Ottawa with my husband and four daughters. My greatest source of energy and happiness stems from my family. I find joy in cooking, travelling, reading, and engaging in various fitness activities. With a CPA designation, an MBA in Finance and Marketing, and coaching certifications from Concordia University and the International Coaching Federation, I bring a well-rounded skill set to both my professional and personal life.
