TEC Small Business Chair
Winnipeg, MB
Professional
Joey Crampton is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of over 30 years of experience in corporate finance and entrepreneurship. He has demonstrated leadership in overseeing sales and acquisitions in excess of $20M while ascending to the role of Controller at several Winnipeg automotive dealerships. Joey’s ability to simplify complex accounting concepts for non-finance team members has been vital to his success, earning him the trust and respect of functional, operational, and executive leaders throughout Manitoba and beyond.
In addition to his impressive corporate achievements, Joey’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident from a young age. During his teenage years, he founded his first business selling knife blocks door-to-door. Joey’s natural talent for customizing his products to meet his customers’ needs allowed him to quickly grasp the pricing of raw mat
erials and labour. Using his early success as a springboard, Joey went on to launch and scale two thriving companies that served Western Canada. His first enterprise grew from a single table at a craft sale to distribution throughout the region in just three years. The second venture started as an environmentally friendly toy website to becoming a supplier to daycares and before-and-after programs across Manitoba.
Joey’s unwavering passion for empowering entrepreneurs led him to establish a coaching practice in 2019, dedicated to helping them reach peak performance, especially in high-pressure and challenging circumstances. As a TEC Chair, he has extended his impact, leveraging his wealth of experience and unique perspective to drive the power of peer advisory for business leaders and entrepreneurs to create meaningful and lasting change.
Joey holds an impressive list of certifications which have helped him further develop his leadership capabilities, including Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), International Coaching Federation’s Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and Certified Positive Intelligence Coach (CPQC). His unique blend of expertise allows him to provide valuable insights, guidance, and support to every business leader at the table, enabling them to reach their full potential and maximize their personal and professional impact.
