Jeremy:

Jeremy is an experienced, kind, thoughtful and very generous chair. He has a deep listening for people. I always know that he is in my corner and is always at the ready to support me (and all of us in the group). He has a great sense of humour and always manages to have a relevant quote, story or metaphor to expand on a concept or system we are exploring. He is committed to his groups and is always thinking ahead as to how to better support us as individuals and as a group, how to improve the ways we meet and to make sure we are getting the most/best out of our TEC memberships.

I am grateful to know him and to have him as my chair.

Thank you Jeremy!

“we only succeed when we all succeed”
When I first read this I kind of disregarded it to be honest. Seemed kind of like a generic inspirational quote, like it should be on a motivational poster or something (thinking the ‘hang in there’ cat, or ‘teamwork’ with a sailboat)
The more I saw it and reread it, the more I realize how important a message and mindset this is.
The thought inspires kindness. A desire to help build others up, in a world that pushes us instead to beat each other down through competition.
The idea works for any small group like our TEC groups, our families, our businesses and for any large groups like our communities, our nation and our species.
Good leadership quote for sure, from someone who can teach me an awful lot about leadership.

A poem about being a good person using only words that can be formed using the letters in “JEREMY HARVEY”:

In a meadow, merry Jay, Hears every harm, ajar he may, Heave heavy harm away.

1Rare hare, merry rave, Yearn, yearn, ever hear, Every heart, every jar.

Marry, heal, army rave, Heave, hear, every ray, Jay, merry, every way.

Ram, hare, merry jay, Harvey, Jeremy, ah! Every rare, every ray.
