I have been recognized for my leadership capabilities and ability to cultivate a high-performance culture in my four-decade career as an entrepreneur. My journey began at an international technical products manufacture. I later gained experience with a national consumer products manufacturer, followed by management consulting positions with a Canadian chartered bank and an international accounting firm. My educational background includes post-graduate studies at York University and the University of Toronto, complemented by a business diploma from Harvard Business School.

One of my significant achievements includes helping launch a national life insurance company in 1969. Following a management buyout in 1975, I assumed the role of President and CEO. The company, ranking among the Top Ten Group Insurance Companies in Canada, was successfully sold to Sun Life Insurance Company in 1994. I am currently the Principal and Chairman of Beemont Management Limited, a management consulting firm I founded in 1977. I am also the founding President and CEO of Just Like Home Senior Residences Inc., a company dedicated to developing residential communities for seniors.

On a personal note, I live in Toronto with my wife, and have three married children. I find joy in golf, music, art, reading, and travel. My commitment to the community is reflected in my past roles as a director and president of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra Association and the Personnel Association in Ontario. I have also served as a past member of the Bord of Regents and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Victoria College at the University of Toronto campus.
