As an entrepreneur and business leader, Bruce Harbinson thrives on the many challenges that come with starting, growing, buying and selling companies.
In 1992, he founded a technology business, which grew from a concept to becoming publicly traded with its intellectual property licensed throughout a global alliance network. Within a decade, it was purchased by a large Asian conglomerate.
Bruce joined TEC as a CEO member in 1997 and transitioned to the role of Chair in 2003. He is currently a Regional Chair, operating three TEC groups in the Greater Toronto Area.
From 2004-2006, he taught strategic organizational design at York University’s Schulich School of Business MBA program. He continues to develop and deliver programs on strategy, leadership and innovation for Schulich’s internationally renowned executive education program.
As President of Harbinson Management Group Ltd., he offers strategic and leadership services to CEOs of entrepreneurial organizations.
His first-hand experiences of balancing strategy, tactics and the interpersonal challenges that come from business demands provides his TEC group members with valuable insights and examples.
