Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
I am an executive leader and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with over 30 years of business experience. With a lifelong dedication to learning and a relentless drive for success, I’ve managed various aspects of business, including strategic planning, corporate management, financial and risk management, Mergers and Acquisitions, human capital, business development, marketing, relationship management, and public speaking.
I have held senior leadership positions and enjoyed a remarkable career as a General Manager and Chief Financial Officer in manufacturing, construction, real estate, and consumer goods. I have successfully built relationships with professional services firms, financial institutions, customers, and supply chains, establishing myself as a trusted business partner and advisor. I have testified as an expert at the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and defended corporations on various tax matters with the Canadian Revenue Agency and the Department of Justice.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have had mentors who helped me discover and tap into my potential. As a TEC Canada Chair, I draw upon my extensive experience as a trusted business partner and advisor to inspire others to fulfill their personal and professional potential and foster a culture of growth and achievement, creating a supportive and enriching environment.
As an entrepreneur, I founded the Toronto Chapter of the CFO Leadership Council, an organization dedicated to helping Senior Financial Executives empower their careers, build relationships, and grow successful.
On a personal note, I have a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Cash Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Certificate from Western Ontario on The Entrepreneurial Process. I am also a Past Chair of the Alzheimer Society of York Region. I am happily married and father of two University graduates.
