“As a TEC Chair, I am passionate about drawing on my diverse career experiences to support a group of CEOs who are committed to improving their businesses and personal lives.”
Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
My journey balancing senior-level work responsibilities with family life while studying to become a CPA has provided me with invaluable experience in managing multiple priorities. This personal experience, combined with my time as a member of a CEO Peer group, allows me to offer practical advice and guidance to others as they grow successful businesses.
My corporate career spanned over 30 years at United Van Lines (Canada) Ltd., an international member-owned organization in the transportation industry, where I held various leadership roles in finance, operations, IT, marketing and general management. As a CPA, I approach business with a strong financial perspective while fostering relationships that drive organizational success. My experience in negotiating with professional services firms, financial institutions, and insurance companies has saved the organization hundreds of thousands of dollars. More recently, I have devoted my time to giving back through teaching at Sheridan College Pilon School of Business and leading a not-for-profit organization as both a Board Director and Executive Director. Sharing my knowledge as a business leader, teacher, and coach helps me contribute to the success of my TEC CEO Peer Group members.
On a personal level, I have been happily married for over 30 years and enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I lead an active lifestyle, playing hockey, mountain biking, and spending time at the family cottage. When I am not outdoors, I enjoy contributing to our latest DIY home renovation project in my workshop.
