A Little Bit About Me
Having spent over 25 years in a CEO seat—and having been part of a peer group and worked with a coach for much of that time—I know firsthand the value of having a trusted circle to lean on, challenge you, and help you grow. As a TEC Chair, I’m deeply committed to helping business leaders unlock their full potential by drawing on decades of leadership experience and a profound respect for the power of peer learning. My mission is to support business leaders to building healthier and more profitable businesses faster while having substantially better lives.
As President & CEO of ASL Distribution Services, I led the company through a multi-decade transformation from a small, printed matter transportation firm into a diversified logistics leader with operations across Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and New York State. During my tenure, ASL achieved more than 15X revenue growth and a 40% EBITDA gain between 2020 and 2024. We were proud to be recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 17 consecutive years.
Throughout my leadership journey, I’ve navigated complex M&A, co-founded and integrated a new venture, built high-performing teams and systems that drove sustained results, and successfully sold and transitioned the business. At Magna International, I held managerial roles and helped drive the launch of three of Magna’s largest ventures, including Karmax Heavy Stamping, in Milton On, Drive Automotive in Greenville SC, and for Formet Industries in the project office in Detroit Mi. I’m also a certified Executive and Business Coach, blending structured coaching methods with real-world business insights and empathy.
I’m a lifelong learner who thrives on continuous growth. I’ve had the privilege of benefitting tremendously from peer groups and coaching over the past 25 years—experiences that shape how I lead and support others. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family, cooking, playing organized hockey, pickleball, hiking, cycling, strength training, meditation and photography. I am actively involved with three community organizations, Covenant House, Smilezone, and The Yonge Street Mission.
