Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
With over 25 years of experience advising CEOs, small business owners, and leaders of large enterprises, I have helped individuals and organizations make remarkable impacts nationwide. Now, with a broad range of expertise, I have chosen to become a TEC Chair to share my knowledge and embark on a meaningful journey.
My notable career at PwC Canada began in 1985, a two year secondment to the UK and returning to Canada and becoming a partner in 1996 in London, Ontario. Moving to Calgary in 2005, I led the Private Company Services team for Alberta and served as PwC’s Leader for Real Estate Services. I specialized in financial reporting, accounting, tax, and supporting businesses in addressing operational and financial reporting issues. My client work spanned cities across Canada and the UK. I also served on the Board of PwC for eight years, contributing to various committees, which enhanced my understanding of governance and operational growth.
While a partner, I interacted with TEC members who were my clients at PwC, seeing firsthand how TEC membership empowers CEOs. Upon retiring from PwC as an active partner, I wanted to continue that interaction with CEOs and businesses which drew me to TEC. As a TEC Chair, I am passionate about working with CEOs, helping them grow personally and professionally alongside high-performing peers.
Personally, I live in Calgary with my wife and four adult children. I enjoy golfing, skiing, and playing hockey. I am a Chartered Professional Accountant with a MACC and BA (Hons) from the University of Waterloo and hold the Institute of Corporate Directors Director designation (ICD.D).
