The 2024 TEC Canada National Chair Conference Kicks off in Vancouver, BC!

Each year, the TEC Canada National Chair Conference centers around five guiding principles: Knowledge Gain, Direction of TEC, Come Together, Celebration and Pay Tribute, and Value. These pillars reflect our commitment to equipping TEC Chairs with insights to elevate their practices, fostering alignment with TEC’s direction, and nurturing a sense of community that is felt when we all come together. As we celebrate achievements and pay tribute to the work of our TEC Chairs, the true impact of TEC’s mission and vision come to life.

This year’s TEC Canada National Chair Conference unfolds at the Pan Pacific Hotel, a breathtaking venue overlooking Vancouver Harbour. With views of the lush Capilano and Stanley Park forests, the expansive Pacific Ocean, Canada’s largest port, and the rugged peaks of Grouse Mountain and the North Shore, this setting mirrors the essence of our time together—natural beauty, resilience, and a spirit of inspiration.

Our President & CEO, Todd Millar, alongside Founder Dr. W. Lynn Tanner, officially launched the conference with an inspiring welcome presentation. Together, they celebrated TEC Canada’s mission, vision, and the powerful impact of the TEC community.

TEC Chairs then heard from the TEC Canada Leadership Team, who shared updates from their respective departments and revealed new initiatives on the horizon.
