Leon Botham Receives APEGS Award
Saskatoon TEC member, Leon Botham, P.Eng., FEC, FGC (Hon.)—President, NewFields Canada—has been honoured with APEGS’ 2025 Brian Eckel Distinguished Service Award for outstanding contributions to engineering and community service.
NewFields Canada, an independently operated consulting firm serving the mining and energy sectors with engineering, design, and construction services, also announced national expansion with a new Toronto office.
Daniel Grima Receives Industry Recognition
Toronto-based TEC member Daniel Grima—TWEG Head Office, Managing Partner—and The West Egg Group have earned two national honours: Great Place to Work–Certified and a spot on The Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list—highlighting a people-first culture and sustained growth.
