Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
For leaders of today’s SMEs, resources are increasingly stretched, competition is fierce, and there are dynamic challenges to face every day. As a TEC Canada Chair, I bring a wealth of experience and a unique skill set to assist the leaders of today’s SMEs in identifying and surpassing perceived limits.
With a reputation for agility, creativity, resourcefulness, and a talent for cultivating transformational organizational cultures, I have held extensive C-level positions within a diverse range of industries over the past 30 years. My leadership roles have left a mark on organizations such as Harvest One Inc., SMART Technologies, Aguila Convergence Worldwide, Foxconn, Loblaws, Hudson’s Bay, Scotiabank, and BMO. I am directly accountable for one of the world’s largest SAP implementation projects and have excelled in building dynamic cross-functional partnerships, leading an Organizational Change Team to support large-scale company transformations.
During my career of driving transformation by innovative and effective approaches to strategic planning, leadership, and organizational effectiveness, I have received over 10 professional certifications and awards, including the Women of Inspiration™ Award. Created to recognize the achievements of women from diverse industries across Canada, this award is reserved for role models who have taken the road less traveled, paved the way for others to follow, and have used their platform to create change on a local, national, and global scale.
My hands-on experience has successfully guided corporations through periods of global transformation, acquisition & divestitures, and adaptability. This background perfectly positions me to serve as a TEC Canada Chair, where leaders seeking to enhance their decision-making capabilities and navigate the dynamics of today and tomorrow’s economy can find clear solutions.
On a personal note, I hold certifications as a Certified Master of The Leadership Challenge® and a Certified LPI® Coach. I am also a Personal Resilience Practitioner with a passion for helping youth and their parents manage anxiety and become more resilient. As a mother to three sons, I enjoy teaching them golf with my husband.
