Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
Coaching has always been a passion of mine.
With over 25,000 hours invested in coaching and mentoring countless senior executives, CEOs, and business owners, I have become a recognized leader and innovator in the field. My expertise is often sought after to assist business leaders in navigating challenging interpersonal issues and managing difficult people.
My wealth of business acumen comes from my role as a Senior Vice President of Extendicare Canada and through raising venture capital and owning successful businesses in both the security and manufacturing industries. In 1984, I founded Management Transitions LTD., a company specializing in executive coaching and leadership, where my commitment to executive coaching and leadership development started. Then, in 1987, I established the first TEC group in Eastern Canada- a venture I have nurtured consistently ever since.
Over the span of 25 years, I have received numerous awards in recognition of my unwavering dedication and commitment to leadership. Twice, I have been honored with the Robert Nourse TEC Canada Chairman of the Year award, and in 2014, I was proud to receive the Vistage/TEC Don Cope Award as the International Chairman of the Year. Within the TEC community, my professionalism, good humor, and gentle manner are qualities that are valued and appreciated by all.
I firmly believe in the potential of individuals to make a positive difference. One of my greatest passions lies in working with those sincerely committed to enhancing their leadership skills and elevating their businesses to new levels of performance.
I hold an MBA from the Ivey School at UWO and I’m also a Certified Management Consultant with certifications from Conversant and the Hudson Institute. Beyond my career, my life is enriched by moments spent with my wife in our home which I built on Lake Simcoe. From exploring new destinations and scuba diving to the fulfilling pursuit of mentoring MBA and college students, my interests are as diverse as they are rewarding.
