Barry Brad is an entrepreneur, angel investor and consultant who is passionate about inspiring leadership in business. With over 25 years in the energy industry, Barry has a track record of achieving tremendous business growth within start-up, turnaround and rapid-change environments. He is a strategic visionary, skilled at establishing world-class governance processes as well as attracting top talent to a team.

Barry co-founded, grew and sold PROJEX, a privately held, full service Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (“EPCM”) firm. PROJEX was one of Canada’s leading EPCMs specialized in oil sands, focused specifically in the Western Canadian market. In 2012, PROJEX was awarded one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies.

In 2015, Barry launched DEXEM Consulting Inc., which provides capital and executive capabilities to support companies in the energy, food and water industries. Their mission is to shape promising entrepreneurs to become exceptional leaders by offering support on long-term strategy, executive leadership, brand building, culture and tactical execution.
