Marc Grandbois brings over 30 years of business strategy experience to his role as a TEC Canada Chair. With over 16 years’ experience as a TEC member, Marc has a personal understanding of the value that peer advisory and executive coaching can bring to a leader. He is also equipped with certification from the International Coach Federation – which acknowledges his ability to improve the lives, relationships, and business performance of his group members.
After receiving a Bachelor of Engineering and MBA from McGill University, Marc began his career as a Project Engineer at Petro-Canada before advancing through additional sectors of the firm – including research and development, business planning, sales, and marketing management. Having led several organizations through major growth and re-structure since then – including Petro-Canada’s industrial division in Eastern Canada, Gienow Building Products in Calgary and Schwank (HVAC)– Marc has proven success in delivering profit gains in highly competitive domestic and international markets.
In recent years, Marc was the President of Chantecler Windows in Gatineau and successfully prepared it for sale to an income trust fund. His last corporate position was CEO of Schwank Ltd in the Greater Toronto Area where he doubled the firm’s revenue and profitability during his 14-year tenure. Marc’s business acumen, personable nature, and previous coaching experience make him a notable addition to the TEC Canada Chair community.
