A Little Bit About Me
In my professional journey spanning over 30 years, I’ve cultivated extensive business strategy expertise that I now bring to my role as a TEC Canada Chair. With over 16 years as a TEC member, I understand the profound value that peer advisory and executive coaching can bring to a leader’s journey. Holding certification from the International Coach Federation, I am recognized for my ability to enhance the lives, relationships, and business performance of my group members.
My academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA from McGill University. I began my career as a Project Engineer at Petro-Canada before advancing through additional sectors of the firm- including research and development, business planning, sales, and marketing management. Over the years, I’ve successfully led organizations through significant growth and restructuring, leaving an indelible mark on entities such as Petro-Canada’s industrial division in Eastern Canada, Gienow Building Products in Calgary, and Schwank (HVAC), consistently delivering profit gains in highly competitive domestic and international markets.
More recently, I served as the President of Chantecler Windows in Gatineau, successfully preparing it for sale to an income trust fund. My final corporate role was CEO of Schwank Ltd in the Greater Toronto Area, where I doubled the firm’s revenue and profitability during my 14-year tenure. My business acumen, personable nature, and prior coaching experience positions me as a noteworthy addition to the TEC Canada Chair community.
On a personal note, I am an Executive Coach certified by the International Coach Federation. Beyond my professional endeavours, I find joy in scuba diving and indulging my passion for equestrian pursuits.
