David MacLean is recognized as a master communicator and facilitator; one who engages with his audience and inspires action. His passion, insight and wholeheartedness are hallmarks of approach to leadership and life.
David launched MacLean Group Marketing after serving as a sports marketing specialist in the NHL. His roster of high-profile clients included dozens of professional sports franchises, the NBA All-Star Game, the World Track and Field Championships, airlines, government agencies and billion dollar publicly traded companies and high-tech start-ups.
In addition to winning numerous regional, national and international awards, David’s company made Profit Magazine’s 2004 list of Canada’s fastest growing companies. David also served as President of the Esporta Certified Operators of North America, working with entrepreneurs throughout Canada and the USA and speaking at many industry events. Now, he speaks and writes on self-leadership, marketing and social responsibility from the platform of his company, Wholehearted Leaders.
As TEC Chair, David brings his unique experiences in the world of business and professional sports to his mentoring role. He believes that for anybody to operate at the top of their game, they need a coach to draw out the best in them.
