Zone Signature / Zone Énergie Preparing to Launch a Pilot Project in the Field of Sustainable Mobility

An experimental project designed locally by Zone Énergie, a Boucherville-based company, is taking shape with the support of the City.

The City of Boucherville is preparing to launch a pilot project in the field of sustainable mobility. It involves the installation of two fast-charging stations for electric vehicles, a first of its kind in the region.

Developed by the company Zone Énergie, the project plans to deploy both high-tech and user-friendly infrastructure at two strategic sites in the municipality.

At a recent city council meeting, Mayor Jean Martel presented the key points of this experimental initiative. A notice of motion was submitted to authorize the use of these future stations, which are scheduled to be built in 2026 on the grounds of École secondaire de Mortagne and the Francine-Gadbois Multifunctional Center.
