A Little Bit About Me
I would describe myself as a curious connector, fulfilled by working closely with others to help achieve great things. Throughout my career, I have benefited greatly from peers who challenged my thinking, and I am dedicating this next chapter of my professional life to paying that forward. My curiosity allows me to understand each leader’s unique challenges, and I find fulfillment in connecting them with the insights and resources that help elevate their leadership.
My perspective comes from 35 years in Manitoba’s credit union system, including CEO and CFO roles leading teams that supported mid-market businesses across a variety of industries. I have led growth, mergers, transformation, and turnarounds, from an organization with 25 employees and $75 million in assets to one with nearly 1,000 employees and almost $10 billion in assets. Having walked in the shoes of the leaders I now support, I understand the challenges and opportunities they face.
As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Chief Executive (CCE), I bring financial discipline, governance expertise, and practical leadership experience from highly regulated, publicly accountable organizations. I also serve as an Appointed Councillor with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, appointed by the Province of Manitoba.
I’m a lifelong Winnipegger, a proud husband and father of two adult daughters, and someone whose perspective was shaped by growing up in a blue-collar entrepreneurial family. Outside of work, you’ll find me on a golf course, hiking trail, tennis court, or enjoying the world of sports cards and memorabilia – always learning, building friendships, and embracing healthy competition.
