Julia Oulton is a natural leader with a talent for making connections and building lasting partnerships. She has leveraged her consultative sales, strategic planning and negotiating abilities to assist her clients and their teams with entering new markets and securing deals.
Julia began her business career with IBM. She excelled at sales and quickly moved into successive leadership roles over her ten years with the company. Her strong entrepreneurial drive led her to become a freelance consultant. Her ability to identify new revenue streams for clients and open doors to new markets became a recognized hallmark of her business. For example, Julia was able to re-position an existing environmental space technology to a commercial application and secured a Fortune 500 contract for the client. Julia has also successfully owned and operated Pride Technologies, working with teams across North America and Europe. Over the last 20 years, she has worked with many clients including IT and other technologies, nutrition and health care industry, and non-profit sectors.
As a TEC Chair, Julia’s natural talent for looking at an issue from different angles combined with her commitment to life-long learning and innovation positions her perfectly to assist Canadian business owners.
