CBC Feature: How a TEC Member Company Diverts Food Waste From Landfills

With many landfills nearing capacity, Ottawa TEC member Bradley Crepeau – CEO of Food Cycle Science – is changing the way households across Canada dispose of food waste. The innovative technology – the FoodCycler – is a small food waste recycling machine that can reduce the weight and volume of waste by 90 per cent. TEC Member Company Wins Biopharmaceutical Award for Collaborative Breakthrough Project

Congratulations to Feldan Therapeutics – led by François-Thomas Michaud – on winning the 2021 ADRIQ biopharmaceutical sector RSRI award! The Quebec City-based firm collaborated with five major pharmaceutical companies as well as academic institutions to advance the ‘Feldan Shuttle– a promising technology for intracellular delivery of therapeutic compounds.
