Hi Pete,
Reflecting on my journey with TEC, I remember how different the Chair training was when I joined. After returning from San Diego for my fourth week of training, I attended my first BPC meeting in Vancouver. Surrounded by several successful BC Chairs, I quickly realized I needed to let go of much of what I had learned in the US.
I still remember that day vividly. You had flown in to spend time with us, and as we headed to the airport together, you kindly offered me a ride. That drive was a turning point for me. You shared invaluable stories about building a group, engaging with prospects, and asked insightful questions that helped me relax and tap into my strengths.
I truly believe you played a crucial role in my rapid launch, and you’ve been a steadfast support throughout my journey as a Chair. Your mentorship and friendship mean a great deal to me, and I hope to honor your legacy of helping others become the best they can be as a member of the faculty.

My favorite memory of you is every interaction we have had at TEC Foundations, because of the spirit, enthusiasm, knowledge, experience and empathy you always display. However, an even more influential memory for me is the vulnerability you displayed with all TEC Chairs when you brought an issue for processing at the National Chair Conference a few years ago.
