Risk is both powerful and frightening—handled well, it can lead to defining opportunities, but mishandled, it can be devastating. While we know taking risks is necessary, our instincts often tell us to avoid them. The ability to successfully engage with risk is a rare talent that qualifies senior executives for their roles, whether it’s innate or learned. Developing these skills in both themselves and their teams is vital and challenging, requiring insights, commitment, and the right tools. In The Intelligence of Risk – Unleashing Organizational Courage, executives are challenged to rethink their perception of risk and its role in their leadership.
