Each year, TEC Canada acknowledges a distinguished TEC Chair for their exceptional contributions to their groups, fellow Chairs, and the TEC community with the Robert Nourse Award. Named after the man who initially established “The Executive Committee” in 1957, which is now known as Vistage in the U.S. and internationally, the Robert Nourse Award is the most prestigious award a Chair can receive. This award celebrates individuals who not only embody TEC’s core values, but also see the transformation of the lives of CEOs, KEY Executives, business owners, and emerging leaders as an intrinsic reward, reflecting the true character of the individual.
TEC Canada is proud to honour Andrew Reif with this year’s Robert Nourse Award. Andrew guides his members on a journey, elevating their companies towards their goals and visions. He consistently fosters the development of self-assessment abilities among members by exposing them to a diverse range of experiences that challenge them on various levels. Upon learning of the award, Andrew said “It’s not me who deserves this reward; it’s my entire group.” This statement reflects the essence of what this award represents.

The Group Launch Award is awarded to TEC Chairs who launch their groups in 6 months or less from the beginning of the build process.
The Master Chair Award is awarded annually to a TEC Chair who has shown exceptional commitment to their TEC Chair practice.
To receive this award, the recipient must have been a TEC Canada Chair for a minimum of 3 years, and have a minimum of 14 members per TEC CEO or TEC KEY Executive group or 12+ members for a TEC Small Business group, while maintaining exemplary performance standards.
