Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
I am an established entrepreneur, CEO, engineer, and people person who enjoys helping business leaders grow personally and professionally. As a coach and facilitator with TEC Canada, I find energy in assisting them as they navigate challenges and achieve successes. My personal business journey began early, in high school, when my brothers and I started a landscaping company. I later ventured into owning and operating an Italian food kiosk during summer events like the Calgary Stampede and Edmonton Klondike Days. These experiences laid the foundation for my future endeavors.
My professional career commenced in 1980 with a diploma in petroleum technology, followed by a degree in petroleum engineering. After two decades in engineering roles for production companies, I founded GRB Engineering in 1999, specializing in design and project management. During my tenure as CEO of GRB, I became a member of TEC Canada, which provided crucial support for future growth. This eventually led to a merger with WSP International.
At WSP, I served as National VP Oil and Gas and VP International Business Development. In these roles I oversaw operations, strategic planning, business development, and mentored a team of more than two hundred professionals. Following my departure from WSP in 2016, I pursued an MBA and provided consulting services to clients through Vestige Management Consulting Ltd. Additionally I have served on the private Boards of Good Mood Brewery, Orcious Energy and Concept Electric.
Beyond work, I contribute to the community by serving on the Board of Alpha House Society, a non-profit organization that provides shelter and detox facilities to individuals with substance use disorder. Locally, I am involved in my community’s Development Committee.
On a personal note, I am happily married with three awesome daughters. Our family enjoys spending quality time together through various activities like family dinners, recreational outings, and vacations. My hobbies include golfing, travelling, road biking, camping, hiking, playing guitar, and reading.
