A Little Bit About Me
Guiding individuals and organizations towards excellence has been a key focus throughout my career and as a TEC Canada Master Chair of multiple peer advisory groups. With over thirty years of business experience, I am attuned to the challenges that leaders face today, and my approach involves crafting creative solutions and strategic plans that not only deliver tangible results but also foster profit generation.
Over the years, I have held various executive positions in the manufacturing and product distribution industries, gaining firsthand knowledge into what is required to build individuals and teams through periods of rapid growth, acquisition integrations, operational restructuring, and stalled initiatives.
My specialization lies in developing leadership teams and individuals, focusing on initiatives that take personal and organizational performance to higher levels. In 2005, I founded Max Potential, a business dedicated to providing mentoring, executive coaching, and facilitation consulting services. The organization’s focus is to help businesses MAXimize their performance to achieve a strong ROI by inspiring and guiding people- an objective that aligns with my role as a TEC Master Chair.
As a multi-year recipient of the Chair Excellence Award, my TEC group members can leverage my track record, tapping into specific initiatives such as computer system selection and implementations, business process improvements, business operational turnaround, personal leadership development, management team building, professional sales training, and mentoring strategic growth in small and medium enterprises.
On a personal note, I’ve been happily married for over 40 years and am a proud parent of three children. I am a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Consultant. Beyond my skills in the business world, I am also an award-wining Toastmaster and accomplished public speaker. As well, I created the Change Operating System to help small and mid-sized businesses. In 2022 I was honoured with the DELTA Coach of the Year award, recognizing my efforts in going above and beyond to guide and support new Chairs. Outside of my professional pursuits, I am an active community volunteer and enjoy golfing, tennis, and summer fishing on a good bass lake.
