Throughout my professional career, I have held various senior roles that have shaped my journey in the business world. These roles have included serving as the CEO of Surepoint and Petro West, Board member of SaskEnergy and Heritage Gas, and Board Chairman of Ceiba Energy. During my career, I have also successfully bought, sold, integrated, and merged international and domestic companies including Transportadora de Gas Del Norte, ENRON Gas do Brazil, Willbros Canada and CCS Mid-Stream.

My versatile background spans across organizational and governance structures for public and private companies, creating value through restructuring and turnarounds, strategy development, and effective team building.

My high level of business acumen is demonstrated by my first-hand experience and passion for growing companies to their full potential- which I believe is only possible through mentoring and coaching the people who lead them.

I believe that my biggest success has been creating high energy, engaged teams founded on a culture of accountability. This culture emphasizes setting targets, measuring and reporting progress, and celebrating collective successes. As a leader and team builder, witnessing the individuals I’ve worked with achieve remarkable success brings me the greatest sense of accomplishment.

In addition to my professional pursuits, I hold a Mechanical Engineer Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. I am a lifelong learner, always seeking to deepen my insights and make a measurable impact. On a personal note, I enjoy skiing and golfing. I have three children and, so far, two grandchildren.
