Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
I grew up in Buenos Aires, came to North America as a young man, and built a career that took me from Sperry Univac and Hewlett-Packard Canada to a long executive career at Sun Microsystems — where I helped grow the company from $500 million to $7.5 billion in revenue across Canada, Japan, Asia, Australia and Latin America.
In 2002 I founded Carlos Fox Leadership. In 2004 I became a TEC Chair in Ottawa. I never looked back.
For more than twenty years I have facilitated over 700 full-day TEC sessions, conducted more than 6,000 one-to-one coaching sessions with CEOs and senior executives, and led over 60 member retreats — many including spouses, because great leadership doesn’t stop at the office door. For twenty of those years I also chaired TEC’s Small Business program in Ottawa, recently passing that leadership to a 20-year member — a transition I consider one of my proudest accomplishments.
Beyond my work with members, I have contributed to the TEC community in several leadership capacities — serving as Best Practice Chair for Eastern Canada, supporting Chairs across the region in elevating their Chairing, and as Ambassador for the Ottawa Chairs, helping strengthen the local TEC community and the relationships within it.
I seek members who are committed not just to building great businesses, but to living meaningful lives — open-minded, always learning, and generous in their desire to help others succeed.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Management Sciences with a focus on Organizational Behaviour Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
