I am an entrepreneur, angel investor, and dedicated consultant who is passionate about inspiring leadership in business. With a rich history spanning over 25 years in the energy industry, I have consistently driven remarkable business growth in start-up, turnaround and rapid-change environments. My expertise lies in strategic vision, where I excel in establishing world-class governance processes as well as attracting top talent to build formidable teams.

A significant chapter of my career involved co-founding, growing, and selling PROJEX, a privately held, full service engineering, procurement, and construction management (“EPCM”) firm. PROJEX became one of Canada’s leading EPCMs, specializing in oil sands, focused specifically in the Western Canadian market. In 2012, PROJEX earned recognition as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies.
In 2015, I launched DEXEM Consulting Inc., which provides capital and executive capabilities to support companies in the energy, food, and water industries. At DEXEM, our mission is to shape promising entrepreneurs into exceptional leaders by offering guidance on long-term strategy, executive leadership, brand building, culture, and tactical execution.

As a TEC Chair, I bring my passion for building successful businesses that have the capacity to transform people’s lives. Through collaborative efforts, members of my TEC group can achieve growth by fostering trust, care, and supportive challenges from both peers and myself.

On a personal note, I hold an MBA from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business and am a Certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Corporate Directors in Toronto. In my family life, I am happily married with five children. Outside of my professional endeavours, I find joy in riding my Harley and embarking on long trips through Canada and the USA. My interests also extend to travelling, cooking, and learning about wine.
