Dean Correia is the founder of Correia Security Resources, a Canadian company specializing in customized security training. With over 29 years of experience in operations and loss prevention, Dean has held senior leadership roles at global brands like GAP, Starbucks, and Walmart. He is a Certified Protection Professional and Licensed Private Investigator, with additional certifications in Handwriting Content Analysis, Interview/Interrogation, and Executive Protection. Dean is also an Emeritus Faculty member of the Security Executive Council and a Senior Consultant with Learning Dynamics. Known for his work in business continuity and crisis management, he played a key role in planning security for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and the G8/G20 summit. Dean is a contributing editor of *The Business Continuity Essentials Playbook*, a framework designed to help security leaders develop or enhance business continuity programs.
