Wayne Cole is a senior executive and entrepreneur who recognizes the value of mentorship.
His diverse history of accomplishments includes patent ownership, leading a successful furniture manufacturing business and developing over $75 million in projects for clients in retail, manufacturing, oil and gas, mining and educational sectors. He has held several executive roles including CEO and COO for companies owned by James Richardson & Sons, as well as multi-nationals such as Johnson Controls and Ameresco Canada. He has also raised millions in capital for start-ups in medical technology, food processing and nutraceuticals, short-line railways and information technology.
Wayne’s management consulting business has attracted clients that include Natural Resources Canada, and has led to the establishment of numerous energy efficiency and energy conservation related associations. Wayne continues to be involved in ventures in educational, technology and energy-efficiency industries. His most recent project, SEEFAR©, is a unique set of financial assessment tools used to determine sustainable home value. The Department of National Defence and Manitoba Hydro have used this tool.
Wayne is a committed life-long learner who challenges the status quo in pursuit of better product and service value; he brings this rigour to his role as TEC CEO Chair
