Professional
A committed TEC Chair for more than two decades, Bill Bagshaw is passionate about helping leaders clarify their vision and meaningfully communicate it to colleagues, staff and customers. He is a skilled facilitator who challenges his members by asking tough questions – questions that help them move away from conventional ways of thinking to see issues with fresh eyes.
An experienced marketer, Bill helps leaders get to the essence of their organization and create authentic, living brands with a potent strategy and message. Bill has worked with organizations to find a match between each company’s strengths and the perceptions, needs and feelings of their customers. This focus on emotional connection forms the backbone of his company, Focal Customer Development Inc.
Prior to starting Focal Customer Development, Bill helped launch a major radio and television station, and was the first publisher of the Edmonton Daily and Sunday Sun.
A lifelong learner, Bill believes passionately in the role that peer advisory can play in helping leaders grow. His role as a TEC Chair allows him to act as a steward for other leaders as they learn from each other, enhance their corporate cultures and achieve their goals.
