Harold’s career began in 1982 at Ernst & Whinney (now EY) where he led various management consulting assignments and acted as a client relationship manager and project manager on several hundred consulting engagements across North America. Thereafter, Harold assumed the role of Principal at KPMG Deutschland where he launched the Corporate Management and Organization services practice for KPMG Peat Marwick in Germany and carried primary responsibility for its subsequent success. Following his time abroad, Harold returned to Canada and became a Principal at Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson) where he launched its General Management Consulting services practice for Eastern Canada. Afterward, he led the Strategic Advisory Services practice at EY in the Greater Toronto Area, where he focused on building the practice in the firm’s Entrepreneurial Consulting business. In 2000, Harold founded Schroeder & Schroeder Inc. – an international management consulting and project management firm with a powerful proprietary approach to business transformation solutions.
Recently embracing the role of TEC Canada Chair, Harold’s business acumen provides today’s CEOs with the coveted opportunity to benefit from his expertise and to cultivate untapped results. As a Fellow Certified Management Consultant (FCMC), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Health Executive (CHE), Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) – along with being the author of 4 books, 26 white papers, and over 50 articles in 3rd party journals – Harold’s extensive list of accreditations and experience places him in the enviable position of being able to help today’s business leaders overcome the challenges that he’s already mastered.
