We’re searching for a fresh addition to our Marketing team. You’ll provide content strategy support for internal and external communications and bring to the team your flair for writing and keen eye for detail. Obviously, you have mastered your time management and interpersonal skills and would be an exceptional Marketing Communications Specialist.  Need room to grow? No problem, we’ll include you in web management, brand engagement, and projects we haven’t even thought of yet. Digital Marketing Activities

  • Manage the content creation and distribution of all electronic communications including internal and external newsletters, e-communication campaigns and events communication from idea through implementation
  • Create compelling, insightful content that describes, educates, informs and promotes TEC Canada
  • HTML design/layout of all internal and external digital content
  • Create digital assets through Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for digital content
  • Copy editing and simple design and layout of print and multimedia collateral using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Can effectively write engaging copy
  • Understands audience needs and pain points and is comfortable communicating in several different voices
  • Works well with numerous stakeholders to gather information and develop content

Analysis and Reporting

  • Develop, collect, analyze, and report on all content metrics and data
  • Collect and assess data that improves the effectiveness of communication initiatives

SEO and Website Management

  • Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and WordPress design
  • Support content creation and SEO through editing, project management and uploading

Microsoft Dynamics Development and Support

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics ClickDimensions and CRM
  • Support the enhancement and integration of marketing automation
  • Maintain marketing database, lead strategy and process for use of automation to communicate with key stakeholders
  • Analyze lead database and build marketing lists for campaigns

Other Responsibilities

  • Interdepartmental project support
  • Administrative tasks as required


  • Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing or Communications in marketing, communications, or journalism, complemented by 1+ years’ experience
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and other web languages would be an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs and/or Canva or other digital asset creation platforms
  • Strong project management experience with ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Familiarity with CASL
  • Success in designing and executing on marketing and communications that increase leads and users
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill
  • Working skills in Excel and intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a pro-active approach to workload
  • Highly adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Highly motivated, reliable and goal oriented
  • Determined to develop a thorough understanding of TEC Canada’s brand, history and culture
