A Little Bit About Me
I’m recognized for my coaching skills, facilitative style of leadership, and strategic thinking. My passion lies in working with leaders who are undergoing transformative change in their lives and organizations, helping them realize their goals. These individuals view self-improvement as a perpetual state of mind and are lifelong learners who are always open to the world and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Before joining TEC, I served as the founder and President of Train of Thoughts, an Ottawa-based marketing and consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, marketing research, audits, market development, and communications. My professional journey also includes executive positions at Kanatek Technologies and Mitel Corporation in Ottawa, as well as senior marketing roles for Mitel Telecom and Kone Elevators in the United Kingdom.
As a TEC Chair, my goal is to empower members to take ownership of their TEC experience and drive their fellow members to achieve new heights of excellence.
On a personal note, I reside in rural Ottawa with my wife. Our three children have transitioned to independent lives and have started to bless us with grandchildren. I have had the privilege of serving as the past chair of both the Ottawa Community Foundation and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce. My academic background includes studying and working in both Canada and the UK, holding a BSc Honours from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from Thames Valley University in London, as well as a certification as a professional Co-Active Coach.
