Hello!
A Little Bit About Me
With over 30 years of global leadership experience in the energy sector and as the CEO of Protekz, I have built a dynamic portfolio that blends entrepreneurship, sustainability, governance, and transformational leadership. My passion lies in empowering leaders to unlock their full potential and create lasting impact.
Through my TEC Chair practice, I bring together diverse groups of CEOs and business leaders from non-competing industries in a confidential, psychologically safe space where they can tackle personal and business challenges head-on, ignite innovation, accelerate growth, and drive excellence.
I bring extensive international board experience, serving on organizations like ALS Canada, Alberta Dreams, and SPE International, where I contribute to risk and ESG, finance and audit, strategy, leadership and business committees. I have also served as an advisory board chair, M&A advisor, and strategic advisor across various sectors.
Fluent in both English and French, I thrive in navigating complex, multicultural environments. As a business professor at the SAIT School of Business and entrepreneurship advisor at the Haskayne School of Business, I am committed to developing the next generation of leaders.
I hold a solid foundation in mechanical and petroleum engineering, an MBA with distinction from Warwick Business School, and a Sloan MSc in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School, complemented by executive education from Oxford and Harvard. My expertise is reinforced by sustainability certifications such as the Competent Board’s ESG and Climate designations, which enable me to drive transformative change and foster sustainable business practices.
On a personal note, my wife and I, along with our two young children, migrated from Nigeria to Canada in 2003. We have shared nearly three decades of marriage and now blessed with three grown children. Together, we share a deep passion for entrepreneurship, travel, sports, and continuous learning
