Daniel (Dan) has dedicated over 20 years of his career to assisting business leaders as a seasoned management consultant and for nearly a decade as Partner at two of the largest accounting and advisory firms. His expertise spans various aspects of business, management, and transformational strategies, establishing him as a trusted advisor to some of Canada’s largest companies.

In addition to his consulting role, Dan holds multiple Board Administration positions and actively chairs several finance and audit committees. These engagements have granted him comprehensive insights into corporate governance, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making, at the highest levels within organizations.

His passion for knowledge sharing extends to teaching professionals in strategy, organizational design, process improvement, and change management. He has also imparted his expertise to students in the final year of their Bachelor program at HEC Montreal.

Dan’s commitment to adding value for his clients is ingrained in his approach. Leveraging his active listening skills, extensive experience, and candid discussions, he has played a pivotal role in eliminating non-value-added activities, and liberating staff time for more predictive analysis. Among his notable achievements, Dan collaborated with a large provincial finance ministry to re-evaluate their financial framework and design a new model, he was involved with designing new processes to optimize the period-end processes at a large power generator and worked with an aerospace company to redesign their plant accounting functions. These projects showcase his ability to tackle complex challenges and drive transformative outcomes. Additionally, as a volunteer with a non-for-profit organization, he utilized his expertise to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Board’s decision-making tools.
