Jean is a results-oriented Chair with over 30 years of experience as a business owner, executive, turnaround specialist and managing consultant to fast-growth, high labor component and tight-margin businesses.

After a start as an outerwear designer, including a stint as the head designer for the 1988 Calgary Olympics, Jean opened a design and manufacturing company, which she grew to $6.5 million in annual revenues. At the height of her success as an entrepreneur, she joined TEC as a CEO member to further develop her skills as she transitioned from a small business owner to leading a company with 110 employees. Through TEC, she improved her business acumen and gained lifelong friends through her peer advisory group.

Jean sold her business and became a trusted management consultant. She has spent the past decade working with business owners and entrepreneurs on recovering from high stakes technology failures, helping to rebuild confidence, systems and organizations. Applying her work experience to the role of Chair, Jean operates with the best interest of the business owner in mind and she is constantly seeking the best use of time, effort, resources and finances for her members.

TEC Group Vision

Jean is excited to build a group with a talented team of business owners with an emphasis on diversity, use of technology and personal success. She is a firm believer that a strong strategy with proactive leadership, a solid methodology and change management will result in increased efficiency and cost savings for the business.
