Harry Taylor is guided by the mantra, “Potential revealed, prosperity unleashed.” His philosophy extends to businesses in startup mode, ones that are flourishing and ones that are contemplating selling, with the primary theme being the potential for the owner to grow both personally and professionally.
As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) for 40 years, Harry propelled small businesses and high net worth individuals to maximize their ROI, and many clients saw their one-person operation excel to become thriving small businesses. Harry advised on the implementation of profit maximization strategies and growth in the value of the business, whilst encouraging owners to grow their personal investments. An entrepreneur himself, Harry has owned his accounting practice since 1990 and has grown it from a one-man operation to a medium sized CA firm. Additionally, he’s acquired several accounting practices and worked in multiple partnerships.
Those who work with Harry will quickly notice expert communication skills and exceptional resiliency. His financial experience allows him to break down the many complex rules and concepts leaders face and advise them on the best course of action. As a solution-oriented leader, Harry’s survived downturns and thrived in moments of hardship, including navigating crisis when his business partner fell ill.
Harry is perfectly positioned to be in the role of a TEC Chair, having been on the other side of the relationship, where he leveraged a business coach for many years. He encourages his members to take a step back from their business and look at the strategic plans and bigger picture issues critical to their success.
