For Andrew, building high functioning teams is a business passion. He is an accomplished Senior Technology Executive with extensive experience in R&D and commercialization in both private and public sector companies. Andrew supports organizations through a combination of management, business development and technical experience. He brings experience and strong connections with Federal and Provincial agencies that fund start-ups and SMEs.

Andrew has a wealth of experience having worked in the Greater Toronto Area over the past three decades. He has worked in R&D & Commercialization for Xerox, Ecoplastics, Ortech, Bodycote, where he was VP, and MaRS Innovation. Andrew has also been CEO of OtoSim, a successful start-up. In addition, Andrew is a sessional lecturer in Entrepreneurship within the Masters of Engineering program at McMaster University and was Deputy Director at the government granting agency, NSERC. Andrew has informally mentored technology-based start-ups for a decade. As a TEC Chair, he continues his dedication to supporting entrepreneurs and growing companies to reach their full potential. Andrew will utilize his R&D background to work with team members to formulate business plans built on accountability and innovation.

Additionally, his R&D background positions him to understand important obstacles businesses must overcome in the pursuit of success.
