Our dynamic technology team is looking for a Technical Support Representative to provide level one technical support to our staff and contractor community. The Technical Support Representative will have excitement for all things IT related including hardware, software, and telecommunications. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide level 1 technical support for enterprise software, network and hardware solutions including on-site and hosted/cloud based as well as mobile applications
  • Interact with staff and contractor users to provide support and respond to inquiries, concerns, and requests about software and hardware solutions
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with all TEC staff and contractors
  • Proactively identify and communicate any potential issues with any enterprise software and hardware solutions to the IT team
  • Support virtual events and webinars as needed
  • Monitor, prioritize, and resolve technical support requests
  • Perform basic quality assurance and beta testing for new features in enterprise software solutions
  • Run basic usage analytics reports for mobile and web applications
  • Run various weekly and monthly reports by compiling data from multiple sources
  • Ensure data integrity by monitoring systems and processes
  • Other projects and duties as required

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

This position will appeal to a passionate individual with the following skills and a minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience as a help desk technician or other direct facing customer support role in IT:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
  • Strong interpersonal and proven communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities while performing quality work in an efficient manner with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical skills in Windows 10, Office 365 Suite and Dynamics 365 or similar CRM systems
  • Good level of understanding of Microsoft Active Directory including GPO, DNS, DHCP, SSL
  • Good level of understanding of TCP/IP and network troubleshooting including VPN
  • Strong level of understanding of Virtual Meeting/Boardroom technology like Zoom and Teams
  • Excellent time management and problem management skills
  • Capable of moving desktop computer equipment in an office environment (up to 30 lbs)
  • Networking and security certifications are an asset
